Indonesian Beef Rendang

Ingredients
• Beef 1 kg, diced or cut into thin strips according to taste.
• Santan 2 liters
• Four-leaf orange leaves.
• Turmeric leaves 2 pieces

Seasoning
• 6 cloves garlic.
• 12 shallots
• 250 g large red chili.
• 100 gr curly red chili.
• Nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon.
• Cumin 1 teaspoon
• Ginger 25 gr
• Galangal 25 gr
• Turmeric 25 gr
• 2 teaspoons salt
• Coriander 1/2 teaspoon
• Candlenut 5 items
Duration
± 2 ½ hours.
Step
1. Blend the kitchen ingredients above, namely garlic, onion, chili, nutmeg, cumin, and other spices using a blender or mashed manually.
2. Prepare a large stove and pan. Pour enough vegetable oil to saute the seasoning that has been mashed before.
3. Add the mashed spices and stir-fry briefly until a fragrant aroma is emitted.
4. The next step is to insert the beef cuts into the pan.
5. Next enter the coconut milk, lemon grass, candis acid, kaffir lime leaves and turmeric leaves into the pan. Stir in the coconut milk and make sure it doesn't break.
6. Cook for half an hour until coconut milk boils over medium heat.
7. If the coconut milk boils, reduce the heat and stir until the coconut milk is greasy. Cook for about 1.5 hours. Make sure to always stir until the coconut oil is oily.
8. If it's still not tasty or tasty, you can add salt and flavoring according to taste.
9. When coconut oil is oily, reduce the heat of the furnace while continuing to stir until the coconut milk is thick and the oil is absorbed by beef. Do it continuously for about half an hour.
10. Lift the beef rendang from the pan.
